Telling Stories opens at The Catich Gallery on Friday, March 9th from 5-7pm. Admission is free, enjoy drinks, snacks, and engaging artwork.

This exhibition includes paintings and photographs selected from works–in which girls and women are the “heroes”–created over the artist’s 38-year teaching career at St. Ambrose University. The images represent ways in which complex stories can be suggested with quality of light, physical gesture, color, accurate vs. ambiguous description, and allusion to the history of the studio process.
